Laborers/Forklift Operators Needed

Looking for experienced forklift operators and general laborers for a local metal processing plant in Lancaster, NY

1st shift hours-7:15am-3:45pm M-F

Pay starts between $13.50-$15/hr

REQUIREMENTS:

-Must have 1+ years of experience as a general laborer, manufacturing or plant exp preferred

-Forklift or Bobcat experience is a plus

-Must be comfortable doing physical, hands on work

-Must be comfortable working around heavy equipment and machinery

JOB DUTIES:

-Perform material handling and sorting of various types of metal

-Use processing, cutting, grinding, compacting machines to break down and prepare metals

-Count, weight and perform quality checks on products

-Prepare pallets and totes of product for shipment

-Operate processing machinery and equipment once trained

-Operate forklift/Bobcat to move material around the plant and load/unload trucks
