ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse practices under the Surgical Services Clinical Coordinator in performing the duties of a circulating, scrub and/or PACU Nurse, responsible for the assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating of the nursing care and safety delivered to the assigned surgical patients, utilizing the development theory of the infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. To assess the physiological, psychosocial, cultural, social and spiritual needs of patients and their families during the perioperative phases. Directs and coordinates the activities and safety in the surgical suite and PACU during called in hours. Promotes and coordinates team work with physicians and team members and interfaces effectively with other departments. Demonstrates a professional, courteous manner and handles confidential information with discretion for the patient and their family. Will perform related duties as assigned or requested that are necessary in maintain the needs of the surgical department.QualificationsQualification and Requirements:EDUCATION:

A. Graduate of Accredited School of NursingLICENSURE:

A. Current Licensure of GeorgiaB. CPR certificationEXPERIENCE:

A. Previous Surgical Services Experience PreferredB.
