Manufacturing Technician Wayne County

Addex, Inc., manufacturer of equipment for the blown film plastics industry since 1990, is seeking manufacturing technician. Duties and Responsibilities

Assemble electro-mechanical equipment

Soldering, cable fabrication & panel wiring

Prepare equipment for shipment, including packing and crating

Load and unload delivery trucks with fork lift

On occasion, operate general shop equipment such as table saw, band saw, cut off saw, belt sander, drill press

Utilize precision measuring instruments including calipers, height gauges, and micrometers

Maintain clean and organized shop floor

Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma, or equivalent. Trade school electrical/electronic a plus

Previous experience in manufacturing involving electro-mechanical assembly

Aptitude and interest in mechanics & electronics

Able to read schematic diagrams & mechanical assembly drawings

Computer skills: email & Excel

Proficient with hand tools & general carpentry

Panel work a plus

Forklift certification a plus

Self-starter, able to work independently

Attention to detail a must

Physically capable of standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 70 pounds

Must have valid driver's license and maintain good driving record.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
