Work Hours: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm Mon-Fri
Purpose of Production Floor Assembler:
To Collaborate In A Team Environment To Produce The Highest Quality Shipping & Transit Cases
This position description reflects assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict any other tasks that may be assigned
Key duties/Responsibilities of Production Assembler:
Ability to train on the job and learn new skills.
Communicate with Production Manager on daily work assignments
Read and understand basic drawings
Use hands and a variety of tools including table/miter saws as well as pneumatic drills, rivet guns, wrenches, etc. to assemble cases using CNC parts
Look for faulty materials and hardware during case construction to comply with quality control standards
Be conscious of material yields to accomplish scrap reduction goals
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and follow target production goals as required
Available for overtime during peak production periods
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Follow all safety rules and OSHA requirements
Build all cases to the highest standard of quality
Production Assembler Job Requirements
Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas when needed.
Ability and willingness to follow instructions
Able to work as a team on tasks as well as independently as required
Possess stamina for some tasks that demand physical labor and leg work.
Have excellent manual dexterity and ability to dimension, work in decimal & fractions, standard & metric and do basic calculations in your head.
Exacting measurement reading and understanding down to .03125"
Mechanically inclined and proficient with hand/pneumatic tools
Ability to perform basic trouble-shooting as well as routine preventative maintenance of equipment/tools.
Monitor hardware inventory to keep stock updated for minimum needs
Ability to use or be trained in the use of a seated fork lift
Work Environment
This is a non-air conditioned production area.
Physical Demands
Work requires some physical strain such as long periods of standing and walking in production facility and lifting of moderately heavy items (+50 lbs). Other physical demands include crouching, bending over and reaching.

Salary: $15.00 /hour - Review After 90 days
Experience:
Technical Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
Computer Skills: 1 year (Preferred)
