Bookkeeper

DescriptionAccountemps has an immediate need for an experienced Bookkeeper. If you have experience with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting, then this may be the right Bookkeeper role for you. Located in the Fairburn, Georgia area, this Bookkeeper position is a long-term temporary opportunity that you do not want to miss.ResponsibilitiesReview payments received and record deposits

Monitor accounts by balancing entries

Uphold quality historical records by filing documents

Oversee and maintain a well-run system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures

Preside over and review general ledger

Oversee accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

RequirementsPrior experience working with collections/accounting software

BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

Knowledge of Bookkeeping Functions

Bookkeeping experience desired

2+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper
