Senior ERP Analyst

Overview:The Senior ERP Analyst's main role will be to support and develop business operations associated with ERP and manufacturing processes. The role will require analyzing business requirements; conducting workshops; documenting business requirements; managing smaller projects, carrying out Sage X3 modifications, testing of software, installing ongoing training of business users and support. In addition to ERP, this individual will provide support for CRM, e-commerce and business intelligence/reporting and along with management provide support and design activities with colleagues and third-party suppliers. Occasional out of hours work will be required.

Responsibilities
  • Support the release of major and minor enhancements, and maintenance releases. Ensure that all are delivered effectively, optimizing the cadence and use of the environment landscape
  • Design and deliver change (major and minor) and ensure it is introduced effectively, with the right emphasis on business process change and IT service transition
  • Ensure support tasks follow IT management processes accurately, and where appropriate recommendations are suggested to enable continuous improvement

Requirements
  • Support performance management of core business system applications
  • Lead elements of the overall business systems design for new functionality and services through participation in project processes
  • Lead the planning and execution of the release strategy for minor enhancements and major upgrades to business systems, including management of the technical environment landscape (test / dev / production etc.)
  • Adhere to all IT management processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide regular reporting on the performance elements of business systems to line management.

Additional Qualifications
  • 4 years minimum experience of ERP systems.
  • Experience managing or supporting a global ERP implementation
  • Detailed technical knowledge of Manufacturing and/or Distribution Modules
  • Good understanding and experience of SQL 2008 and 2010. Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as SQL Reporting Services, Business Analytics, Sage SI/SEI
