Commodity Manager is responsible for

formulating, communicating, and executing a sourcing & purchasing strategy which consists of the materials, supplies and components necessary for product manufacturing in EMS Environment. The Commodity Manager leads purchasing, supplier sourcing / selection activities and successfully manages the supplier relationship to ensure that the supply chain is capable of delivering high quality, cost effective materials to support Client’s production requirements. The Commodity Manager has an important role in ensuring that their respective commodity meets the technical and price specifications necessary for the client to satisfy its internal manufacturing customers.

Required :
  • Be able to formulate Sourcing and Purchasing Strategy.
  • Well versed in Supply Chain Management
  • 7+ years of experience in Product Manufacturing in EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) Environment.
  • Experienced with Distribution Network.
  • Six Sigma Methodologies
  • Good understanding of 80/20 Principle.
  • Expertise with MS Excel.
  • Bachelors / Masters in Business, Supply Chain or Operation or Engineering.
