Mechanical Engineer II

Job DescriptionSNI Technnology is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a fast growing client here in the Orlando area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SolidWorks and sheet metal fabrication, infection molding and automation systems is a plus. Minimum 5 years of experience.

• This position functions independently and is future based, focused on understanding our end users and designing and creating concept products that either improve current product offerings or pave the way for future product innovations.
• Design responsibilities include product design, creating prototype models and drawings, creating production models and drawings along with models and drawings for tradeshow samples, and product testing.
• Manage and track the prototype process of the project, and testing activities per internal and external requirements.
• Maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Work independently yet collaboratively with the Product Development, R&D, Marketing and Sales team.
• Collaborate with the international manufacturing teams regarding new product designs while addressing the manufacturing process and logistics limitations.
