Requirements:

Our Maintenance Technicianroles require:

Ability to work one of the two available schedules:

2-2-3 rotating 12 hour shift (rotates every two weeks) OR Monday-Thursday: 3:00 pm-1:00 am

In regards to schedules please note: The 2-2-3 rotating schedule provides employees HALF the year off. Additionally, employees are provided their full calendar year schedule in January so they know every day they work and have off throughout a 12 month period.

We do provide a night shift premium when working nights of $.60 / hour.

The Monday-Thursday 3pm-1amis 4 10s and a straight night schedule. Benefit is no weekends and always having the night shift premium.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to read, write, & speak English fluently

Technical degree preferred in related field

Relevant Industrial/Manufacturing maintenance experience is required

Previous PLC experience required – preferably on Allen Bradley or Siemens

Ability to read/understand blueprints, drawings, sketches, layouts, and equipment manuals

Working knowledge of the functioning of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical controls and be able to troubleshoot them with the aid of a schematic

Ability to meet physical requirements – including the ability to handle loud & consistent noises in the plant, frequent standing & walking, climbing up to 15 feet high, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, bending, etc. up to 75 pounds

Responsibilities:

To service and support manufacturing operations in the form of maximizing production output via expedient machine repair, procurement of repair parts, preventive maintenance, safety and maintaining building systems. Other responsibilities include:

Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities

Performs necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment and facility

Creates and understands the work order process using SAP

Problem solves issues concerning equipment operation and manufacturing processes where these relate to maximizing output

Involvement in developmental project work including working with R&D, manufacturing and outside equipment and parts vendors

Maintains spare parts inventory including ordering necessary parts and completing purchase requisitions

Functions as part of the technical resources for the on-site staff

Participates in and supports World Class Operations Management (WCOM) teams

Knowledge of procedures, work instructions and associated forms as required by the Key Area Leader
