PRODUCTION SPECIALIST

Process Wafers/DIE's and or Packaged Components in a cleanroom environment following written specifications and performing multiple operations. Responsible for manual data entry on process travelers and computer data entry for tracking. Interfacing with multiple people and multiple functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Extensive use of microscope and small hand tools

Reading and following drawings to determine component placement

Handling of wafer and individual die

Perform die attach and component assembly operations

Wire Bonding & Pull Testing

Perform inspections per Microchip quality standards

Operate production machinery such as plasma cleaners, ovens, etc.

Entering data/signoffs in computer.

Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Experience using a microscope.

Ability to communicate well in English, both verbal and written.

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle Wafers and dies

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with individuals at all levels.

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of or experience using Lean manufacturing including 5S.

Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment.

Wire-bonding experience.

Experience using Microsoft Windows, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Outlook.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.
