Clarios Production Supervisor FULL-TIME $35/hr 300 S Glengarry Dr, Geneva, IL 60134 The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that production requirements are met, appropriate staffing levels are maintained, employee relations are good, and a safe/clean work environment is maintained. You will plan, direct, coordinate and control manufacturing activities in assigned work area to achieve established management goals. Duties include: - Training production personnel to perform work assignments safely and efficiently. - Maintaining good employee relations through coaching and consistent application of employee relation policies. - Requisitions operating personnel to meet established goals. - May facilitating employee team operations. - May maintaining accurate database information regarding employee training and certification. - May reviewing and coaching employees in accordance with the plant goals. - Administering production salary/wage policy for operating personnel properly. - Administering and enforces health, environmental and safety standards, work practices and housekeeping policies and procedures. - Arranging for proper maintenance of machines and equipment. - May reports daily indicators, including production scrap, batteries per person/hour, and batteries per measured hour. - Investigating material variances, reports results of investigation and recommends improvements. - Soliciting and encouraging process, procedure and equipment improvements from team members. - May auditing Standard Work Practices for each area and regularly reviews them for effectiveness through team meetings and practice. - Ensure boosting requirements are met. - Overseeing receiving and receiving inspections. - Assigning work to meet daily manufacturing requirements and control labor and material usage to meet or improve standard costs. - Familiarize personnel with Company rules and regulations. - Administer union agreements and disciplinary procedures. - Recommend improvements on machines, equipment, job methods and procedures. - Preparing necessary reports.Schedule - Shift start: 2:30PM - Shift length: 9 hours - Days: Monday - Friday, occasional SaturdaysBenefits - Health, dental, vision insurance - Paid time off - 401kRequirements - Bachelor's Degree required, Engineering, Business, or Operations preferred - At least 1 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or shipping/distribution environment - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen - Must pass background check - Can lift 50 lbsAbout Clarios Clarios, is a world leader in advanced energy storage solutions.
