Position Requirements

Accurately and efficiently perform MIG welds based on project needs on steel automotive products.

Must be able meet hourly and daily productivity and output goals (production outputs are measured hourly/daily).

Set up components for welding according to specifications.

Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).

Repair product and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.

Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.

Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform tasks at hand.

Education and Experience

Minimum High School Diploma, general education degree (GED), and/or completion certificate from a certified technical school.

Minimum of two (2) years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
