TURBOCAM is seeking individuals to train for our Machine Operator position. This position offers long-term employment opportunities with growth potential. Our ideal candidate will learn to:

- Perform set-up, operation, and accomplish precise alignment of assigned lathe, mill, and balance machines to extremely close tolerances.

- Accurately perform and document operations and inspections as stated in the Quality Manual.

- Recognize deviations in proper machine performance; trouble-shoot and implement corrective actions.

- Work from process sheets, engineering drawings or specifications, sketches and written or oral instructions to machine various products.

- Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on assigned machines.

- Work in a fast-paced, high volume team environment.

- Support and maintain overall shop efficiency by keeping work areas clean and safe.

- Demonstrate reliability, dependability, and safety-oriented work.

- Perform other duties as required based on assignment.

Qualifications & Requirements

- High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

- Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred.

- Experience running CNC machines (lathe, mill and balance) helpful.

- Basic understanding of MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel desired.

- Knowledge of measuring equipment helpful.

- Good math skills.

- Ability to follow instructions carefully.

- Good interpersonal, communication and organization skills.

- Ability to interpret blueprints and use calibrated instruments to check dimensions preferred.

- Requires occasional lifting and carrying of 25-50 lbs. or more and standing for extended periods of time.

- Moderate physical activity requiring agility and manual dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending as well as lifting or moving objects
