CNC MACHINIST - TOOL & DIE

G.H. TOOL & MOLD (TOOLING TECH GROUP) WASHINGTON MISSOURI

We are seeking experienced 3- and 5-axis CNC machinists to work nights (start time 4:45 p.m.) at 10% shift premium and double time pay for hours worked over 50/week. Weekend shift (work three 12-hours shifts and receive 40 hours pay) also available, with double time for hours over 44/week.

Requirements:

Two (2) year technical degree or three (3) years equivalent experience in CNC machining.

Ability to read blueprints and perform shop math calculations.

Physical ability to move, lift and/or push up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.

Physical ability to walk/stand on concrete for the duration of the work shift, in increments of up to six (6) hours.

Ability to effectively and safely use a wide variety of hand measuring tools, wrenches, files, and various small tools associated with CNC machining.

GH Tool is NOT a production shop. The CNC Machinist operates high-speed CNC machines, customizes and edits programs, and makes necessary measurements in order to manufacture custom-designed parts within tolerance. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical to this position. Various cutting tools are used generating metal chips, and the consistent application of safe work practices is critical. Regular attendance is required and considerable overtime is to be expected.
