Maintenance Parts Runner and Shop Assistant

Due to continued growth, TruStile Doors, an established national door manufacturer has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Parts Runner and Shop Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will share the responsibility for quality repair and preventative maintenance of manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in the Maintenance field to get their foot in the door at a leading Denver Manufacturing facility.

Assists in general daily tasks including help maintain shop cleanliness alongside technicians

Able to retrieve parts quickly and independently from various vendors in metro area

Comfortable driving full-size pick-up truck and flatbed truck (non-CDL)

Shuttle parts to technicians

Manage waste streams generated through shop (waste oil, spray cans, light bulbs, electronics recycling, etc); coordinate disposal with waste vendor

Assist facilities technicians with facility cleanliness, paint management

Primary shift will be M-F 7A-3P; flexibility in hours is always appreciated; OT is possible

Basic Requirements:

Must possess a valid US Driver’s license and clean driving record

Must possess a smart phone and competency in using it

Must be competent in safely securing truck bed loads

Ability to become licensed and safely operate various material handling equipment (forklifts)

PC competency, Word & Excel and Windows OS, Outlook e-mail

Maintains continuity across shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Communicates fluently via phone, text messaging, e-mail, and Microsoft Teams with peers and leadership

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Requirements:

Ability write, process, and receive Purchase Orders (POs)
