Elberta Community Farmers Market is HIRING a Farmers Market Manager!

The Farmers Market Manager will be responsible for all aspects of coordinating the Thursday, Elberta Community Farmers Market.

Job duties include managing all vendor applications, communications, market payments, funding reimbursements, reimbursement reporting to various entities, fundraising, weekly market set-up/ take down and other duties as needed.

Desired Skills and characteristics include: a love for the Elberta Farmers Market, strong communication skills, able to assertively and respectfully enforce rules as needed, proficient in data entry, ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; self directed but able to work as a team player and a willingness to work in the elements (heat, rain, cold, wind).

Salary: $4,500 Approximately: 250 hours This includes being available for pre-market preparations starting in February and all Market Days (Thursdays, 7 am- 1:30 pm) beginning at the end of May through mid October.
