Supervising Nurse (Part-Time)

Job Description

1. Handelscheduling for staff and clients
2. Answering phones
3. Filing and faxing
4. Conduct home visits
5. Train staff
6. Assist administratively asneeded

7. Complete initial and ongoing assessments to identify the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of home health patients

8. Educate patients and their families on proper home care strategies and procedures, and make recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the patient’s quality of life

9. Provide effective communication to patients/clients, their family members, team members, and other health care professionals

10. Work in office max25-30hours/week

Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s School of Nursing, or vocational nursing

2. Current state license as an RN

3. Proof of current CPR certification

4. Compassionate, friendly demeanor

5. Excellent communication skills

6. Current driver’s license and reliable transportation

7. Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally
