Seeking Paid Social Media Research Study Participants

Dr. Kjerstin Thorson, an associate professor in the Department of Advertising & Public Relations at Michigan State University, is looking for participants for a research study of how people use social media to find out about the world.

We are looking for volunteers to participate in an approximately 60-minute audio-recorded interview via Zoom(or Google Meet, or FB Messenger) about information that you receive on your social media platforms. This interview will include a series of questions with optional screen sharing and donation portions.

To be able to take part in this study, individuals must be between 18 and 34 years of age. Qualifying participants will receive $20 in compensation for participating in this interview, via Venmo, PayPal, or Amazon gift card.
