Job Description

General Summary

This position will report to the Senior Field Leader and will be responsible for scheduled adherence for Gas Compression Operations.

The Workweek Field Leader (Gas Compression) is an Entry-level position and:

  • Will be responsible for getting the crews out to work.
  • Will be responsible for reporting out any incomplete jobs and addressing why those jobs were not field completed by the crews.
  • Will schedule overtime for crews and report out to the Senior Field Leader and other stakeholders any work that is incomplete.
  • Will provide occasional work direction in the absence of a Field Leader AND direction to the work scheduler for emergent work and regular schedule changes.
  • Is responsible for all code compliance work.
  • Will work collaboratively with cross-functional organizations to meet metrics associated with percentage of work completed.
  • Will be a process owner for the T-0 schedule and field execution and is a combination of a Field Leader and a Scheduler.
  • Will not have any direct reports and will not be able to change a work schedule; however, will be able to direct crews and work schedulers, if needed.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • One (1) or more years of utility experience in Scheduling, Planning, or Field Operations.
  • Functional knowledge of Gas and/or Generation Operations schedule adherence, activities, and practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, or a related field.

Essential Functions

  • Align and coordinate with various stakeholders within Generation and Gas operations to meet the requirements of schedule adherence and customer on time delivery.
  • Will be accountable for any missed scheduled work and ensure that all work missed is entered back into the schedule for field completion.
  • Will oversee the work planning process to ensure the effectiveness and ensure no barriers to the schedule can be completed.
  • Will ensure that crews get to the work site in a timely manner with all parts and tools required to execute work.
  • Individuals should exemplify safe work practices and follow the Company’s compliance standards.
  • Regular attendance is expected.

Hours and Travel

  • This individual in this position will work 40 hours per week with 40% of time spent in the office or a specific work location.
