We specialized in recruiting for Application development, Big data, Databases, Infrastructure, Cloud, Mobile and ERP based solutions projects.Job Title:Proposal Manager Location:McLean, VA Duration:6 Months Responsibilities: Work with the Officer in Charge (OIC), Capture Manager (and deputy) and the Deputy Proposal Manager to ensure an efficient workflow and communication throughout the capture and proposal life cycles Coordinate with Capture Manager for bid/no bid recommendation Participate with the Capture Manager and OIC, to finalize win arguments and their allocation Establish Bidding and Proposal (B and P) budget and approves B and P task and expenditure authorizations Manage proposal development schedule including, milestones, major activities, and critical reviews (proposal color teams), and monitors progress Assist in the identification of Color Team participants Compile and approves questions before submission to the Government Coordinate submission of the proposal to the Government in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) instructions Direct proposal Volume Leads, Content Developers, etc., including the pre-writing activities such as the proposal compliance matrix outlines, purple tables, and blueprints Vet key decisions with the OIC, Capture Manager, Contracts, Subcontracts, etc., as appropriate Identify resources and logistical requirements; Coordinate with pricing specialists and contract/subcontract administrators Primary Skills: 10 years of experience in a professional work environment 10 years of experience working with contracts commonly used by the Government and Department of Defense 8 years of experience developing and writing Proposals in response to Government Requests for Proposals 5 years of experience developing market strategies for new business/existing business Experience responding to proposals that require a PWS in response to a SOO Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint Experience with completing individual tasks effectively Experience with working in a team environment Ability to gather and analyze data effectively Ability to apply critical thinking to a wide variety of problems Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems Applicants must be fully authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
