Network Developer, Austin, Texas Phone + Skype No C2C Position JD: Network Developer II Underlay Service Orchestration Team This team primarily creates automations for the provisioning team. They make the devices in the network to talk with our Service Orchestrator by building Resource Adapters(RA's). They also take those RA's and sprinkle some business logic to automate / enhance network services (FIA/ELINE ). Skills desired: Coding in a Group environment using Git Strong familiarity with our network services Ability to read python Understands what a development framework is (Django, Flask, Symphony ) Network Developer I Service Reliability Engineering Team This team is more servant based addressing technical debt needed to enhance efficacies of bordering teams. As this team's success is based upon making other teams faster using any available well supported technologies in the mainstream, we'd be looking for someone who know a little about a lot. This team will look at Testing Automations in the lab so that bordering development teams are able to push new changes into production quickly and safely. This team will also be automating deployments from a lab environment to the production using well supported automation technologies. Skills Desired: Coding in a Group environment using Git Ability to write python for task automations A confidant familiarity with Linux Server automations knowledge (Puppet, Ansible, Chef) Understanding of Application Containerization (Docker, Vagrant)
