- Must have a sufficient understanding of technology to enable them to lead team members and help them overcome their development roadblocks

- The incumbent provides counsel and advice to top management on significant matters, often requiring coordination between organizations.

- 5+ years of SM/Agile team level experience
- Mentors other scrum masters
- Continuous improvement in agile leadership
- Mastery of agile principles
- Coach team members
- Become a leader of peers
- Mentor G & H level scrum masters - He does mentor other scrum masters and the people on teams who wear the scrum master hat (DSMs - designated scrum masters)
- Advocate agile across the organization
- Contribute to agile growth of the organization
- May participate in the hiring process of scrum masters - hasn't done, because we haven't hired any
- Begin tackling organizational impediments
- Comfortable opposing anti-patterns
- Strong collaboration with leadership groups (CTPOs, Directors, Sr. Mangers, Architects)
- Capable of coaching up
- Have a director + mentor
- Participate in cross-departmental efforts
- JIRA expert
- Confluence expert
- Able to teach Scrum, Kanban, TDD, BDD, XP
- Can start and facilitate Scrum of Scrums
- Leads initiatives within the community of practice
- Communication skills
