Please find the JD below: Job: Collaboration Architect Location: 100%Remote Duration: Contract (long term) Client: Elgebra Job Summary: This role is for an experienced Collaboration Architect, with good knowledge around the Skype and Microsoft Teams voice and the associated services. The individual will be working closely with Global stakeholders and help collaborate with various verticals within EY, the areas involving Collaboration Engineering, Architecture, stakeholder relationship, leading technical discussion and providing training. Candidate should have good understanding of Skype, MS Teams, Cisco Voice, Avaya Voice and other contact center integration product lines. The role is part of a global Architect team in a large, complex and multinational environment. Essential Functions of the Job: Knowledge and Skills Requirements: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Skype for business platform (Cloud and On-premise) Hands on implementation experience on handling complex Voice and Telephony infrastructure Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure focusing on IP Telephony and Contact Center technologies with knowledge of managing multiple vendor requirement with an emphasis on Cisco Unified Communications, Microsoft Skype for business and Microsoft Teams. Excellent knowledge of Unified communications environments with a focus on mobility and demonstrated ability to integrate these tools into existing environments. Certification and design experience in Microsoft Skype for business, Microsoft Teams and Cisco is a plus. Knowledge of dependent IP telephony devices such as SBA's and SBC's Understanding of other technologies such as Active Directory, Windows servers, DNS, and load balancing Azure Active Directory, Active Directory and Windows Server knowledge Modern Authentication flow knowledge with Hybrid Cloud setup. DNS and DHCP Knowledge with vast implementation experience Knowledge of F5 and other vendor load balancers Basic networking knowledge and skills Basic knowledge of firewall and TCPIP port Substantial, extensive and demonstrated experience in various aspects of technology infrastructure design and implementation, with tangible, relevant and demonstrated experience in delivering projects within scope and budget Demonstrated experience in dealing with external vendors and suppliers in the Telecommunications industry Experience troubleshooting end user issues Polycom IP phones experiences Language Requirements: Proficient in the English language, specifically: o Listen: Can understand extended speech and can follow complex lines of argument provided the topic is reasonably familiar. o Read: Can understand factual texts, articles and reports concerned with current business matters in which the writer expresses an opinion, adopts a particular attitude or viewpoint; can skim long and complex texts for main points and important information. o Speak: Can interact with sufficient fluency and spontaneity to make regular interaction with native speakers quite possible; take an active part in discussions, present and sustain viewpoints; summarize main points of meetings or presentations; present clear detailed descriptions on a wide range of work related subjects; negotiate standard work-related matters effectively. o Write: Can write a report passing on information or giving reasons for or against a particular point of view; can write emails, letters, documents highlighting the significance and implications of the information provided; deal independently with routine correspondence in own area of work as long as it does not involve very complex content. Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities: Understand the nuances of the Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business services platform across geographic regions and guide appropriate changes, solutions and services within the directives of the role's strategic remit Utilize knowledge of culture, people behavior, financial management, marketing, adoption, service delivery and technology to prepare for executive decisions Consultative questioning, influence management and critical thinking to understand current directives and recommend viable solutions that are both effective and supporting the value to the business Escalate and negotiate complex and conflicting change issues, handle multiple and shifting priorities across a broad spectrum of operating environments and drive solutions that are both financially sound and operationally feasible Knowledge and Skills Requirements: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Skype for business (Cloud and On-premise) Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure focusing on IP Telephony technologies from the major vendors with an emphasis on Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Skype for business. Intercontinental travel may be required Job Requirements: Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience required Experience: 10-years or more working as a Collaboration Architecture role or similar function as an Architect with Good Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies.
