Platform Level (Recent College Graduate/Mobile Platforms) @ Hillsboro, OR

Duration: 6 Months CW will be onsite for this position from the start. Required skill set :Intel Mobile Platforms refers to the Windows laptops based on Intel CPU. So other companies do use these (like Dell, HP and Lenovo systems). The candidate does not need prior working experience at Intel for this role. Candidate will work with the power management architecture team gathering platform power data on power management features and evolving platform power reduction Techniques for - Various workloads. The task will involve extensive Iab measurement activities for existing mobile platforms, developing experiments and POCs along with Data analysis and presentations. We are Iooking to bring in a RCG 0-5 years of exp with either a BS EE/CS or MS EE/CS. we are also asking for the person to have a degree and be able to perform data analysis and generate presentations. We are really more interested in a bright RCG than someone with Iots of experience Recent College Graduate BS EE, CS acceptable MS EE, CS preferred 0-2 years of platform Ievel testing experience A successful candidate would be expected to have the following skills: 1 Broad knowledge of mobile platform and power management features HW and SW 2 Knowledge of ACPI/APM power management framework 3 Understand of CPU, I/O and - VR architecture 4 2+ years' experience in Iab measurement tools such as Netdaq, ITP, Logic Analyzers 5 Demonstrate great discipline and rigor in data collection and management 6 Good communication and interpersonal skills 7 Familiarity with PCIe & USB protocols 8 Familiar with using Logic analyzer, PCIe protocol analyzer & USB protocol analyzer, 0-2 years of platform Ievel testing experience
