We have an exciting Contract opportunity for a Product Owner with one of our major Pharma clients based out in PA The Role The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business and user needs and translate them into consumable system requirements for Development Teams across IT Projects and other Business Initiatives. The ideal candidate should be techno functional and be able to identify, analyze and facilitate business requirements collection in order to implement modifications to existing systems and / or create new applications to meet user needs across the organization. Additional considerations Specific to this role:

  • Experience of working with syndicated commercial data in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry (e.g. IQVIA, Symphony)
  • Experience working with promotional activity data collected via CRM systems (e.g. calls, samples)
  • Strong attention to detail and process follow-through
  • Experience working with large datasets and relational databases
  • Experience implementing data quality and governance activities
KeyAccountabilities:
  • Analyze, research and document business / user requirements.
  • Elaborate on requirements and user stories through supporting artifacts such as user/process flow diagrams, wireframes, data models, scenarios, excel matrices, and others as needed.
  • Create functional specifications that capture all interface behavior for all types of users of the system and any front end or back end business rules.
  • Support the development team by communicating requirements and functional specifications.
  • Work with stakeholders, product owners, team leads, designers/artists and others as needed, to help refine a product backlog of user stories for agile development.
  • Overall ownership of quality deliverables assigned across multiple projects.
  • Triage issues (defects/bugs) with the QA team to ensure alignment with the defined requirements and providing responses to issues as well as keep documentation up to date.
  • Engage with release managers to review and approve finished development work before release into production
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies and other team meetings and activities as appropriate
  • Monitor, report and publish metrics providing a clear view of overall progress, risks and issues to the Team leadership.
  • Communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively with stakeholders about projects.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization
.Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience 5+ years of experience working in a System Analyst role within a technology organization
  • Experience of working with syndicated commercial data in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry (e.g. IQVIA, Symphony)
  • Experience or Exposure to Veeva CRM is highly preferred.
BS/MS in computer science or equivalent degree preferred Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to clearly articulate complex subjects. Good written and verbal communication skills, able to provide timely and concise reports and communications and interact with multiple groups and levels. Ability to multi-task in a busy, fast-paced environment Hands on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Proficient in Writing of functional system requirements Ability to closely work with product owners to translate needs into software requirements Ability to manage workload and prioritize work appropriately
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio etc.)
