A member of the cloud administration & infrastructure team, responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring and maintaining security posture within the Azure cloud environment. Able to set up and manage access to cloud resources using accounts, users, and groups. Should have the Microsoft Azure Security Engineer, CCSP, or equivalent certification. Should have a cross-domain skillset across cloud, system, network, and security administration and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts. Responsibilities:

  • Analyze systems and services and seek security improvements on a continuous basis
  • Conduct routine audits of infrastructure and systems
  • Respond to security incidents
  • Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities
  • Research weaknesses and find ways to counter them
  • Educate development team on secure development practices
  • Participate in team planning sessions and advocate for secure designs
  • Develop best practices and security standards for the organization
  • Perform penetration testing of applications, networks, systems and software
  • Assist fellow employees with cybersecurity, software, hardware or IT needs
  • Participate in cloud administration and development operations tasks and projects
  • Participate in team on-call rotation
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience implementing, monitoring and maintaining cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions
  • Azure Security Engineer, CCSP, or equivalent certification
  • Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques
  • Experience performing software and infrastructure penetration testing
  • Experience in PowerShell and other scripting languages
  • Knowledge of network theory e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, etc., MAC addresses, IP packets, DNS, OSI layers, and load balancing
  • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud administration including Azure SQL, Azure Kubernetes Service, App Service Plans, Virtual Networking, Virtual Machines and Storage.
  • Experience working with Azure Dev Ops build and release pipelines and repositories
  • Preferred: Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications
SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS [note: bold skills and certification are required] Experience implementing, monitoring, maintaining Cloud LaaS, PaaS, SaaS solutions Azure Security Engineer, CCSP, or equivalent certification 3+ years penetration testing experience Very strong in Azure cloud administration including Azure SQL, Azure Kubernetes 2+ years with containerized applications
