The Green Gang, Inc. is a family-owned commercial lawn care company and has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant / Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. The candidate in this role will work closely with the office manager and the two company operations managers. Other responsibilities include attending to the general administrative needs of the company. The essential functions of this role will include receiving and entering all AP bills and resolving A/P issues and assisting managers with employee scheduling and employee time tracking. Candidates must be professional in appearance and have proficient verbal and written communication skills. This position requires someone who is resourceful, has an eye for detail and enjoys learning. Candidates must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle various tasks at once.
Work Schedule M-F, 8am-5pm with flexibility if needed.

Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
Perform special projects as assigned
Sort, log, and file invoices, and other documents
Assist with administrative and clerical tasks
Assist with client contracts
Assist with employee issues, specifically uniforms, scheduling, time tracking, etc.
Answer and route telephone calls and Assist clients and customers using professional phone skills
Requirements
Accounts Payable (AP) experience in QuickBooks or other accounting software, preferably 2+ years
Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office skills
Manage full-cycle A/P
Processing, posting, and recording of vendor and subcontractor invoices Perform daily processes and controls accurately, ensuring company policies are followed
Organize, register, and file invoices and other documents
Handle the customer service needs of clients
Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Strong data entry skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with our clients
Ability to work within Excel spreadsheets and databases
