Back End JAVA / Spring Boot Developer

- Back end focused work that will primarily be in Spring and Java, but there will be some node
- Deliver web development projects within designated schedules and budgets
- Demonstrate leadership within development pods, give feedback to other developers
- Some client interface will be required
- Support development of projects from inception through alpha/beta testing and final delivery
- Keep current with programming languages/platforms
- Revise and troubleshoot development work as required
- Understand and follow North Highland development processes
- Work with lead developers, technical architects, creative and UX teams to develop dynamic innovative online experiences
- Effectively present technical information in one-on-one and small group situations to vendors, clients, and colleagues
- Ability to work remotely on east coast hours
- 5+ years of enterprise development experience
- Java and JavaScript web development
- Experience with Typescript and modern frameworks (Angular 5+, React, Ember)
- Experience with styling languages such as SASS, or CSS3
- Experience with responsive design best practices
- Understanding of browser compatibility issues
- Bachelor's Degree or Certificate from accredited program
- Ability to travel when necessary
- Experience with the Ionic Framework
- Experience working with Hapi.js or Express
- Experience with Azure Cosmos DB
- Experience with Heroku
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Pipelines, or Artifacts
