Machine (Slitter) Operators - 2nd shift

Job Description

WehavetwoSlitter(machine) Operator positions available on 2nd shift, working 2:00pm - 10:30pm M-F.Starting pay is $13.32/hour (includes $0.75/hour shift premium).The primary responsibility of this position is to setup and operate multi-blade slitting machinesto cut and windlarge rolls of ink-coated polypropylene or polyester film into smaller rolls as determined by customer specification. Operators are also responsible for quality testing, material handling, data entryand packing duties.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer/keyboarding experience preferred including data entry and look-ups.
• Ability to work overtime/flexible shift
• Physical requirements include constant standing/walking, use of upper extremities to handle/manipulate, and ability to visually identify product quality defects; frequent twisting/turning, and lift/carry/reach with ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Prior applicable manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
