oracle OTM Application Manager

Location: Fayetteville, GA Salary: 130000 Description: Our client is currently seeking a oracle OTM Application Manager Role will be remote to start and potentially onsite down the road.Responsibilities Manage and support the design, development, and administration of all applications and services within the OTM eco-system, related software tools and interfaces. Develop, maintain and achieve consensus on a Transportation Systems rolling 3-5 year Road Map Manage, develop and guide the team of Transportation Business System Analysts Champion process, documentation, and training. Ensure business processes are in line with system functionality and best practice and partner with the business team to ensure that documentation and training aids are available and accurate Lead implementations and improvement projects ensuring proper governance is followed and that solutions are fully documented, high quality and successfully adopted by our business partners Evaluate the transportation systems to ensure the business needs are being met, including all compliance requirements Provide set-up and configuration of security roles, tables, workflow, and business rules Implement new functionalities as provided by vendors via upgrades, patches and releases, including managing related testing Provide expertise and recommendations for building reports and manipulating data and ensure FTI is appropriately leveraged Ensure change management processes and project governance guidelines are adhered to and that high-quality documentation is a key deliverable for all initiatives Forge relationships with the business. Communicate well and clearly, taking the time to understand user feedback and incorporate into recommendations and requirements Demonstrate leadership, flexibility and the ability to lead direct reports and business Power Users and effectively interface with various managers. Consistently achieving consensus is a key attribute of the successful OTM Application Manager Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or another business-related field. Minimum of 7 years hands-on OTM experience Minimum of 5 years experience managing a team of BSA professionals Minimum of 5 years experience managing transportation systems in a CPG environment including optimizing CPU processes and working with customer systems/portals Thorough understanding of OTM BI reporting and FTI and experience leveraging Experience implementing value added services such as Fourkites, Loadsmart and Uber Freight Oracle OTM Cloud certifications would be an asset Organized and task oriented. Ability to work on multiple initiatives and projects concurrently ensuring that timelines are balanced with resource constraints and resulting deadlines are met Ability to understand the business needs and convert into clear and detailed requirements and specifications Very strong trouble shooting skills with the ability to determine root cause and implement appropriate solutions Solid technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business Strong analytical and conceptual skills Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing and developing business presentations and power user training materials Ability to solve problems spanning multiple environments in a business area Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all management levels and end user levels Demonstrated competency in project planning and delivery Ability to thrive in a somewhat unstructured hands-on environment that demands a consultative approach and solutions that span multiple inputs and competing requirements Contact: This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
