Role: IT Sales Manager Location: Farmington Hills, MI Locals preferred but not mandatory We are seeking an experienced IT Sales Professional to join our growing team who genuinely thrives on B2B business development in the SMB market through prospecting, networking and relationship building. Our primary businesses to implement and support Business Technology Products and Services for small to medium-sized businesses throughout Michigan The Managed IT Services Sales Executive is responsible for selling Managed IT Services and other IT related services and products directly as well as working with the existing IT team. Maintaining good customer relationships, assisting the implementation and administrative departments as requested and contributing to the continual improvement and growth of the company. A high achiever with a track record of success in business revenue growth, prospecting, identifying, qualifying , and Closing Managed IT selling follows an activity -based process. You will be expected to adhere to a targeted level of prospect & client activity and use methods to create a pipeline to allow you to attain a targeted level of prospect and client activity. Managed IT Services selling requires a wide range of skills to be successful. An in depth understanding of the IT landscape, overall business knowledge, industry compliance requirements, consultative selling ability, team building and strong leadership and management experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying new business opportunities in the small and medium business market and focused vertical markets such as Education, Non-Profit and Legal.
  • Introduce new products and services to our existing clients for up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Create your own business development opportunities via daily prospecting activities:
  • Networking and referral generation to achieve qualified face to face / virtual selling opportunities.
  • Manage leads, generated from marketing to prospects and existing accounts via Quarterly Business Reviews and other client business meetings .
  • Track all sales related activities daily, including phone contacts, referrals appointments, quotes, and sales.
  • Generate accurate sales forecasting by revenue & gross profit.
  • Develop and produce proposals and quotes for presentation to a client.
  • Achieve professional selling skills development via co provided and vendor training.
  • Represent Central professionally to all interested parties including customers, prospects, and outside vendor partners.
  • Effectively manage time and resources
  • Be goal oriented and have evidence of reaching ambitious goals through tactical planning, execution, and ability to adapt.
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
  • 2- 3 Years of B2B selling IT related products and services: Ideally Managed IT Sales.
  • Lead, mentor and develop existing sales teams to sell Managed IT Services and related products and services.
  • Ability to manage and grow a revenue stream by developing and executing a business plan.
  • General knowledge of IOT, AI and MI technologies
  • Experience in consultative selling.
  • Excellent presentation, organizational and planning skills. Process oriented with fanatical attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Supplemental Pay: Commission pay Experience: Sales Experience: 5years (Preferred) IT sales: 2-3 years (Preferred) managed service provider: 2 years
