Working closely with the Business Development Department, the Marketing Manager is responsible for the management and tactical execution of our B2B corporate marketing plans and projects that support revenue growth. This position will be heavily focused on corporate communications, project management, copywriting, and website/platform management. The best person for the job has a broad marketing background particularly in B2B environments, significant experience in writing corporate marketing copy, is a strong project manager, has a passion for developing creative content, works comfortably in a fast paced, roll up your sleeves environment, and is constantly working toward better results that drive our business forward.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the organization’s marketing annual plan necessary to achieve business targets in relation to marketing initiatives
  • Identify and author relevant content to share on future company social media channels, including

    Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter
  • Support with creating content and copy for all B2B corporate marketing communications
  • Project manage all marketing communications including copywriting, branding, public relations, advertising, trade shows, seminars and events, collateral materials, and market research management
  • Manage content calendar across all channels to leverage service offerings and brand awareness
  • Manage customer email campaign timelines, list management, compiling & distribution of reports while maintaining Mail platform and tracking/sharing campaign metrics
  • Proven success in managing advertising initiatives that drive interest and convert strangers into prospects into customers
  • Ability to work in multiple cross-functional groups as well as independently and autonomously
  • Advanced presentation and written communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Command of Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote
  • Organize and manage thought leadership and content creation for Sun Technologies Blog
  • Maintain a library of content

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • 3+ years of proven marketing experience across a wide array of media channels
  • Experience in the IT space strongly preferred
  • Strong management and tactical execution ability supported by authentic skills, experience and a proven pattern of success
  • Copywriting experience and proven track record of writing effective B2B content
  • Exceptional communicator who can write/edit creative messaging aligned with our corporate brand and voice
  • Email marketing platform experience highly desired
  • Strong project management skills and ability to create and execute plans; organization, prioritization and deadline oriented
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; highly skilled in impactful PPT creation and Excel
  • Experience in content development, channel optimization, brand consistency
  • Experience with social media and content integration
  • Fastidious and process focused
  • Experience with graphic design software a plus
  • Passion for new idea generation/creative brainstorming
  • Experience and passion for customers, delivering great results and being part of a high-performing team
