Information Security Analyst

This role can sit remotely during COVID, however will eventually require some sort of on-site presence next year. You must be a or permanent resident to qualify for this position.

• Assist in implementing and maintaining the “Cybersecurity Strategy” and “Cybersecurity Policy” approved by the Bank.
• Assist in managing the Cybersecurity operations and the protection of the enterprise-wide information systems, assets and information.
• Assist in developing and implementing the design of cybersecurity architecture and systems and deliver risk based cybersecurity solutions to address people, processes and technology aspects of cybersecurity.
• Assist in developing, conducting and maintaining cybersecurity aspects of Disaster Recovery (DR) & Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and document their testing in line with the policy approved by the bank.
• Assist in monitoring and managing cybersecurity activities through Security Operations Center (SOC) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
• Assist in ensuring continued compliance with laws and applicable regulations related to cybersecurity.
• Collect, disseminate and report to CISO for cybersecurity threat intelligence (internal and external) and coordinate threat intelligence sharing and industry collaboration activities.
• Assist in implementing the cybersecurity awareness and training program for all personnel to achieve desired cybersecurity levels.
• Assist in assessing the adequacy of bank cybersecurity controls in view of emerging cybersecurity threats.
• Assist in preparing the reports for overall effectiveness of the cybersecurity governance, material cybersecurity risks, and material cybersecurity events etc. in accordance with the NYSDFS part 500 regulation and with SBP guidelines.
