Title: Network Engineer

Location: PeachTree City GA

Clearance: Secret or TS (Eligible acceptable) IBSS Corp is passionate about networking. We work with a wide variety of technologies and we are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fulfill a role as a Network Engineer with an important government customer. The ideal candidate should excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and enjoy working with new technologies on projects with accelerated timelines, as well as be able to work independently with little to no supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and evaluate enterprise networking solutions and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Design, implement, support and perform lifecycle management of Brocade switches, Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches, Cisco routers, Cisco FirePower firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls, F5 load balancers, and Aruba wireless controllers.
  • Provide Network Engineering expertise and Tier 3+ support for a global enterprise computing environment; collaborate with cross-functional teams and acting as a networking subject-matter expert to support, troubleshoot, and implement enterprise IT solutions.
  • Integrate networking infrastructure with enterprise monitoring, alerting, security auditing and management, log collection and analysis, intrusion detection and prevention, etc.
  • Update existing documentation, and create new documentation as needed, including network diagrams, requirements documents, project plans, asset inventory, etc.

Qualifications:
  • Design and implementation experience with Brocade switches, Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches, Cisco routers, Cisco FirePower firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls, F5 load balancers, and Aruba wireless controllers.
  • Providing Network Engineering expertise and Tier 3+ support for a global enterprise computing environment.
  • Experience researching and evaluating enterprise networking solutions and providing recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and acting as a networking subject-matter expert to support, troubleshoot, and implement enterprise IT solutions.
  • Solid understanding of networking principals and security best practices.
  • Working knowledge of technologies traversing an enterprise network (e.g. virtualization, VOIP, IT Windows and Linux systems, SAN, applications, etc.)
  • Understanding of the system hardening processes, tools, guidelines and benchmarks
  • DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III compliant required with 90 days (CISSP or CASP certification)
  • Other additional relevant Industry Certifications such as CCNP Routing & Switching desired
  • Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal, analytical, oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting

Certifications:

Preferred: CISSP, CASP, CCNP R&S, CCNP Security, Security+Must obtain: CISSP within 90 days
