PC Technician

Come work as a short-term temporary PC Technician in the Saint Clair Shores, Michigan, region.How you will make an impact- Install printers, troubleshoot and handle repairs- Disassemble, pack, move and set up/install on site- Disassemble, box and ship equipment that is out of date- Manage inventory of equipment, including collaborating on potential purchases- Transfer data from PC to PC and troubleshoot software/hardware as well as break/fix- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities- Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters- Ensure sound electronic data records by adhering to company quality standards- Coordinate repairs with the appropriate vendors- Manage and carry out a variety of technology implementation projects- Image and set up new computers- Service a variety of computer hardware, diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, and refurbishing PCs, laptops, monitors, servers, and other IT equipment- Support functionality testing and end users Requirements - CompTIA A+ certification obligatory- An understanding of networking such as switching and routing is desired- Strong problem-solving skills- 1 - 3 years of experience supporting PC and Mac hardware and software, as well as knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN- Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical- Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement- Knowledge of hardware & software installation- MS Windows 10 experience desired Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
