Kelly Services, Inc. is happy to exclusively present a contract opportunity for a SharePoint Business Process Expert in Quality Management at Dow Chemical in Auburn, MI. The SharePoint Business Process Expert primarily support Quality Management efforts related to content management and knowledge management within the Operations IT/OT organization.

  • Experience: Hands on Corporate work experience in SharePoint needed
  • This person will work in Sharepoint, SAP, Microsoft Teams, and be focused on Diamond Learning software: the Local administration, scheduling training curriculum updates, maintaining training credits, etc.
  • Work with the LMS system Diamond Learning is very preferred and a bonus !
  • Previous Dow Chemical experience is a bonus too!
  • Education: Associate Degree and further is a preference.
  • This contract position is located onsite in Auburn, MI USA at Dow Chemical Company. Will be remote for period then onsite.

  • Pay based on your experience aspects: $18.00 - $28.00 hourly.

OVERVIEW of DUTIES:
  • Website/SharePoint Communication site management
  • Fileshare/SharePoint repository management
  • Facilitation of the Management of Change (MOC) process for changed documents -administration of the WebMOC tool
  • Assist with scheduling and tracking of training in Dow's Learning Management System (LMS) Diamond Learning.
  • Work with functional content SMEs to develop new and/or maintain existing training courses, job aids, and other key documentation.
  • Prepare and deliver course communications to targeted training audiences.
  • Manage and monitor the Learning Functional Mailbox and Calendar.
  • Assist QM and POM team members in project work related to optimization and management of the training program, including managing data, data migration, reporting, updating documentation, presentation development and optimization, and other projects as requested.
Experience:
  • At least 5 plus years of relevant work experience.
  • Past Dow Chemical experience that includes a familiarity with Dow systems and processes, and functions that are included in the scope of the organization is a plus .
Qualifications :
  • Associates degree or higher preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is preferred
  • Proficiency in File Share Management (FSM) and SharePoint is a plus.
  • Understanding of the learning work processes and learning management system (LMS) within Dow is a plus.
  • A working knowledge of Instructional System Design theory as it applies to learning and understanding of Massively Open Online Content (MOOCs) theory are helpful.
  • Working knowledge of learning delivery technologies such as programs, web-based training, computer aided learning , etc.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional leaders, teams and global counterparts within Dow, contracting companies and partnering employers.
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize core work processes and tools
  • Excellent communication, presentation and training skills, and a passion for helping others succeed.
  • Ability to manage several projects and initiatives
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, organize, and monitor multiple concurrent projects in order to meet established timing expectations
  • This position requires judgment, independent thinking, analytical and computer skills.
  • Interpersonal, decision making, and problem-solving skills are required
