Small to mid-sized organization is seeking a
HANDS-ON Assistant IT Director for a direct hire role in #California – will consider candidates in or near the #LosAngeles/San Bernardino areas. Will oversee #Infrastructure and Application Support teams. Must come from an infrastructure background (5+ years) and have good experience in the areas of servers/systems, networking, security and cloud #Azure). Solid people management/leadership experience (2+ years) is required (should have experience managing both infrastructure and application support teams), along with excellent communication and soft skills. Must be an advocate for change with modernization/transformation experience, while also having a keen sense of leadership, gaining team and management buy-in and trust. Early 2021 target start. Will primarily be remote for initial period until Covid situation improves, then will be mostly onsite with partial remote opportunities included. Non-profit or Higher Education industry experience required.Vacancy expired!
