EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled are encouraged to apply.Client seeks to add an Information Security DLP Lead who will report to the Information Security GRC Director and will be responsible for supporting Client’ data governance program through processes and technologies such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP) platforms. The DLP Lead will work with stakeholders to establish and define data governance enforcement policies to be configured across the enterprise. In addition, the DLP Lead will work with key partners including HR, Legal, and other teams across the enterprise to document and implement key activities (to include triage and investigation, escalation of policy breaches and potential/actual instances of data leakage, monthly report production and quality control), SLAs, and KPIs.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Develops an understanding of Client current and forward-looking data use requirements to improve the Client Data Governance Program
  • Provides input to the Information Security Risk Management process activities and related documentation (e.g., policies, standards, system life-cycle support plans, and maintenance training materials)
  • Partner with Privacy, Human Resources and Legal to ensure compliance with global and regional regulatory requirements
  • Design, architect, implement, operate and maintain Client’ Data Loss Prevention technology globally
  • Subject matter expert of Forcepoint DLP solutions
  • Maintain DLP policies and respond to associated events to ensure compliance with the Client global information security policy
  • Advise on required rulesets and ruleset optimization and tuning to reduce false positives based on patterns observed during event analysis
  • Maintain and support the DLP security infrastructure
  • Maintain a working relationship with the security operations center
  • Assist in responding to and managing security events. Lead efforts to implement and manage solutions in the areas of virtualization, cloud technologies, data protection, threat protection, and security event monitoring
  • Establish monitoring and incident response processes and workflows for DLP alerts
  • Preparation of monthly reports and dashboards, including trend and root cause analysis and achievement against SLAs and KPIs
  • Collaborate with infrastructure architecture, networking, server, endpoint, and web & application development teams
  • Security Architecture and Design Development and Review
  • DLP Incident Handling/Response

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or related field experience

  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience with focus on DLP technologies
  • Expert level experience and knowledge of data loss prevention and protection technologies
  • Experience and knowledge of Data Governance
  • Experience and knowledge of Cloud Security
  • Some experience or knowledge of Virtualization Technologies
  • Some experience or knowledge of privacy, including GDPR and CCPA
  • Experience and knowledge of Network Security
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
  • Experience with Computer, Network, and Policy Auditing
  • Strong verbal and written skills enabling for direct contact with stakeholders and to provide status of various operational activities
