Office Location-Dunwoody, GA. Our campus is conveniently located adjacent to the Dunwoody Marta station.At this time, most of our employees are working remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the safety of our employees is priority at State Farm. Candidates who are selected for this position will be trained remotely. ResponsibilitiesThe Enterprise Technology Online Loss Reporting Team is looking for a Software Developer to continue building out an industry leading loss reporting experience. Digital Claims is responsible for enabling our customers to provide the necessary information to file their claim. Our product team is responsible for creating premier customer experiences using technical capabilities that are deployed on AWS and Pivotal Cloud Foundry. Digital Claims strives to be a champion of product and focuses on making our customers dreams become a reality. Whether that be by filling a claim, checking the status of their claim, finding a repair shop, or getting your claim paid out. Our teams think from the customer's perspective and partner with User Experience and Business partners to deliver innovative and cutting-edge technology solutions. This position will play a key role in leading the Online Loss Reporting team to new heights.

QualificationsWe Are Looking for Candidates With• Knowledge of AWS Compute Services (EKS, ECS, Lambda)• Understanding of Web Services and APIs (REST, GraphQL, and gRPC)• Ability to understand and implement patterns for enabling a hybrid cloud architecture• Expertise in creating CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Gitlab-CI, Jenkins, or similar• Java, Node.js, GoLang• Effective communication skills with the ability to breakdown complex technical problems in a way that technical and non-technical audiences can understand• Familiarity with Product Management and Agile principles• Experience leading agile software development teamsPreferred Skills/Experience• Familiarity with data strategies such as caching and read replica• Knowledge of DevSecOps and SRE practices with experience implementing in a product team setting• Experience with Public Cloud tools (Terraform Enterprise, Vault, Consul, AWS CLI)• Knowledge of front-end application frameworks (Angular, Ember, React)• Champion of Information Security best practices• Knowledge of AWS Data Services (Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache)• Familiarity with Data Management concepts (Governance, Quality, and Administration)• Understanding of Disaster Recovery, Fail Over, and Redundancy• Promoter of Automated Testing Best PracticesSFarm
