The Linux/Unix System Administrator shall have strong familiarity and experience with the following storage concepts and products:• Linux system administration (RHEL), especially as it relates to storage systems• Ansible Tower/Engine• Storage protocols: NFS, CIFS, iSCSI;• Understanding of storage hardware concepts (e.g. Enclosures, Drives, RAID etc.);• Good understanding of disaster recovery concepts and techniques, especially as it applies to storage systems;• Storage Replication, Snapshots, Mirroring, Backups;• Transparent disk/file system encryption;• Red Hat Gluster• Network Attached Storage Arrays;• Storage Area Network Arrays;• Technical BS degree or equivalent work experience required;• Responsible for provisioning storage to hosts in compliance with documented procedures and using approved tools;• Participate in environment refresh activities;• Troubleshoot issues;• Provide support to other storage team members;• Be an excellent communicator, and teammate• Solaris 10/11 Additionally, knowledge and experience in the following areas is a plus: • VMware ESX;• Solaris 10 & 11;• Automation & Scripting (PERL and or Shell);• NAS (Celerra) Hitachi Data Systems (HNAS and HCP).
