ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a Digital Experience Architect for State Farm's Enterprise Technology XD Strategy team. As a Digital Experience Architect you will be expected to provide thought leadership, direction and guidance at a team level during the execution of human and user-centered artifacts intended to support strategic development. Specifically, this role will be a key member in the Integrated Experience work which includes cross-functional collaborations with Omni-Channel and System of Engagement departments. These collaborations include activities that assess current experiences from a customer point of view, mapping customer journeys, identifying opportunities to improve, and visualizing aspirations. Additionally, the role will be asked to liaison across multiple product areas/XD teams to better understand current strategies, digital solutions, and roadmaps.Job Code: 5857 Grade: RL1
  • Guides the execution of the Experience Architecture (EA) strategy, including the high-level application and maintenance of the relevant components of the enterprise Ops Model
  • Provides support and guidance to the UX Team from an UX architecture/framework perspective, and assists with UX project scoping, when necessary
  • Serves as a point-of-contact for strategic direction and alignment of the UI framework, UCD process, digital artifacts and templates
  • Collaborates with partnering teams and is accountable for Experience Architecture (EA) delivery within working groups to ensure cross-workstream UX architecture oversight
  • Defines the UI framework for aspirational visualizations and strategic UX concepting efforts, and guides the delivery of rapid prototypes of the UX architecture solution
  • Approves all CAB exception requests that impact the execution of the UCD process or digital artifacts
  • Provides leadership for Experience Architecture, as well as for internal and external project teams as directed
  • Stays abreast of UCD and UX architecture best practices to inform the evolution of the UCD processes, digital artifacts and templates

  • Ability to translate key trends (industry, market and technology), competitive intelligence and customer feedback to experience recommendations.
  • Capable of pitching experience vision, strategy and aspirational design. Exceptional story-telling ability.
  • Experience working with agile development teams collaboratively through discovery, design, development and testing iteratively.
  • Experience working within a product-centric model is preferred.
  • Ability to stay informed of modern front-end development tech and trends, and have meaningful conversation with development resources and product leadership.
  • Working or expert knowledge of modern design delivery tools such as Sketch, InVision App, and Adobe Creative Cloud. Experience with other industry standard tools such as Axure, Keynote, and Microsoft Office/SharePoint.
