Please apply for this position by sending your resume to: Email: apply AT chandratech DOT com SUBJECT: Applying for System Administrator Atlanta, GA Hourly Rate: $22 W2; $26 CTC/1099 Job Description: Primary Duties & Responsibilities: -Designs, configures, and tests computer hardware, networking software and operating system software -Diagnoses hardware and software problems, replace defective components -Escalates problems to vendor and/or developer for advanced debugging or software correction -Evaluates new technologies or solutions to improve service and efficiency of systems -Monitors network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made -Operates consoles to monitor performance of computer systems /networks, coordinates computer network access/ use -Performs data backups and disaster recovery operations -Performs routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records -Plans, coordinates, and implements network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware -Prepares user instructions and documentation for the installation and operation of software and software upgrades -Perform daily and long-term operational and strategic management of hardware and software -Plan, monitor & record hardware assets and/or software license to make sure they complied w/ vendor contracts in different software tools -Apply a continuous improvement approach in enhancing the strategies employed in technology spending, as well as in tracking company assets within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) throughout their lifecycle -Ensure effective management of the CMDB and that the content contained is accurate Entry Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field from accredited college or university OR Associate's degree in related field from an accredited college or university Experience in CMDB management Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree in related field from an accredited university (1 Year)
• Design, configure, test PC hardware, network software / operating system software (3 Years)
• Performs data backups/ disaster recovery operations (3 Years)
• Perform routine network startup/ shutdown procedures, maintain control records (3 Years)
• Asset Management (1 Year)
• CMDB Management (1 Year)
