Contract Length: 2 years

Note:

This position is remote initially due to COVID but will be onsite after it is deemed safe to return.

Description:Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.Systems Administrator capabilities with experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Must Have Skills:
  • Phone based technical support
  • Demonstrated technical competence in a customer support environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and advanced customer support skills
  • Experience managing & supporting personal and/or network printers/multi-function devices
  • Technical Assistance and User Support. Providing support and technical assistance for proprietary software to general public or nontechnical users.
  • Experience configuring and supporting Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, Domains, Domain Schemas, Domain Name Systems (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and Security Policy Configurations.
  • Experience in Microsoft Active Directory management
  • Support and maintain user account information on servers
  • Support and maintain user account information on servers including rights, security and systems groups
  • Understanding of current PC deployment and support technology
  • Windows server & desktop technical support (related to application developer workstations)
  • Experience supporting a large customer base (1500+ employees) working multiple locations
  • Active Directory Tools
  • Experience troubleshooting technology support issues
  • Remote desktop support tools (RDP, SCCM, etc.)
  • Active Directory
  • Active Directory Administration
  • Mobile Device Management. AirWatch, or similar MDM utility.
  • Application Support
  • Active Directory
  • Desktop Virtualization. Virtual desktop infrastructure technologies
  • Work with customers to solve problems and support their needs
  • Wireless Experience: Activate and support cellular and Smartphone services and devices to include iPad Galaxy tablets.
