Experis is looking for a Project Manager who would be dedicated to our manufacturing product development team. Strong candidates will be experienced project managers with knowledge and excitement around agile transformations. Partnering with Business (15%)

  • Collaborates with business partners to determine opportunities and priorities.
  • Scopes and structures initiatives into IS projects. Performs requirements gathering.
  • Works with business to provide status updates, open issues and resolutions.
  • Effectively interacts with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Project Leadership and Management (85%)
  • Experienced leading teams from waterfall to scrum but able to manage effectively in either methodology
  • Effectively communicates to project stakeholders.
  • Documents minutes, action items etc from Project meetings.
  • Authors and publish Project Charter.
  • Tracking and publishing common agile health reporting such as burn down charts and velocity.
  • Negotiates and documents UAT exit criteria.
  • Maintains Risk, Next Step, Issues log.
  • Manages defect resolution process.
  • Conducts and documents retrospectives.
  • Facilitates & coordinates production change management including Service Now change requests
  • Strong facilitation, verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Project Management Certification from a reputable institution. PMP Preferred.
  • Certified Scrum Master preferred, but based on experience will consider

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business or related field required.
  • 2-4 years of prior experience in applying proven project management methodologies to large mission critical projects.
  • 2-4 years of prior experience with using Agile methodology
  • Experience supporting Manufacturing or Operations products/projects Strong visual mapping skills (e.g. Value Stream Mapping; Process Flows; Relationship Diagrams).
  • Experience with ERP systems, manufacturing controls systems, quality management systems highly desirable
  • Highly organized and self-driven individual with ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment across a portfolio of projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Skilled at building and fostering relationships within a matrix organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Partner with product owners, business stakeholders and technical analysts to define project requirements, build comprehensive project plans, and manage work to completion in a traditional waterfall fashion.
  • Be well versed in manufacturing, operations or manufacturing quality projects
  • Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and circulating information.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experienced project manager, 3 years minimum
  • Experience in defining project requirements / driving business toward approvals
  • Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a development team that was applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (retrospective formats, bug handling, team conflict resolution techniques, etc.).
  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP certification
  • First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I)
  • Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least three years
  • Knowledge of other agile approaches.
  • Experience in waterfall Project Management and migrating from waterfall to scrum
