Job Title: Python/Site reliability engineer Location: Remote Duration: 12 Months Must have Python coding environment , Trouble shooting, Devops Must haves:
- This is an SRE role and will be a part of on call trouble shooting and part of a Team
- Need Linux sys admin experience who can troubleshoot
- Needs Python- scripting help in supporting and resolving for on call effort
- Must have Java /J2EE experience
- Great Knowledge of Databases and Infrastructure of DB's and understanding of OLTP or OLAP system knowledge / use.
- Must know Docker, Kubernetes, containers
- Big data and Data infrastructure is VERY good to have
- Apache Pinot knowledge or experience would be great
- Admin background is key but if they have coding /dev, that's a big plus
- 1Would help to have worked in Big data
- 1Cloud a plus, but not deal breaker
- Specific SRE # Qualifications
- This team is working in Apache Pinot needs a true SRE. The candidate will be supporting Data infrastructure for Apache Pinot notification forms
- Team 4-5 engineers. The role is Level 1 SRE on call paired with Level 2 Devs on call
- 24/7 support- SLA is during biz hrs. is < 15 min for major issues and 24 hrs. for minor issues
- They use an In house built (like pager duty) notification system and are on weekly on call rotation Monday to Monday
- Global team, need to flexible with time zones sync
