Amick Brown is seeking an IT Service Desk Technician for a contract role with our direct customer in the public sector.

Location: Auburn, CA

Duration: 6 Months

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • IT Service Desk endpoint imaging, configuration, and deployment support.
  • Testing, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and maintenance of desktop computer, network, and communication system hardware and software.
  • Work independently and as a cooperative, contributing member of a team.
  • 100% onsite work

Required Skills:
  • General IT knowledge of:
    • Applications typical in a Windows environment - MS Office 365 / Outlook, Adobe, Active Directory, Web Browsers configuration, Remote Support Tools, Service Now Ticketing system
    • Windows 10 OS - Power settings, Local User profiles
    • Basic Network architecture TCP/IP, CMD Tools
    • Endpoint Encryption software
    • Peripheral device support
  • Tech Refresh Experience
    • Endpoint Deployments, Profile copy/restore, Reimaging i.e. SCCM, Surplus, DOJ Wiping procedures
  • Basic methods and techniques of testing, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and maintenance of desktop computer, network, and communication system hardware and software.
  • Work independently and as a cooperative, contributing member of a team.
  • Lifting–frequent lifting up to 20 pounds; occasional lifting to 80 pounds.
