Job Description
Locus Robotics has a large and geographically diverse Robotics Software Engineering team working on a variety of cutting-edge engineering challenges. We are seeking a talented QA Software Engineer to join our team to work on improving and articulating better QA testing practices. This QA software developer will support with improving our continuous integration development and will apply best practices to resolve and troubleshoot any events from the field.
Responsibilities:
- Work in our Test and Simulation team to improve our continuous integration process, enhance compliance with our software development standards, develop regression and release test plans and procedures, and help improve our dynamic engineering documentation platforms.
- Troubleshoot and refine test protocols based on feedback from the field.
- Support relevant portions of our compliance program.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with languages such as C, Python, Rust and Java.
- 5+ years of experience in a structured test environment, preferably within a standards-based framework (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, CMMI, etc.).
- Experience with embedded software.
- Familiarity with Linux.
- Experience with web-based data visualization software will be helpful.
