Performance Sports Therapy is looking for a front desk receptionist!
WE ARE SEEKING A PART TIME FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST WITH THE AVAILABILITY TO COVER THE OTHER FRONT DESK SHIFT WITH 30 DAYS OR MORE ADVANCE NOTICE WHEN THE OTHER FRONT DESK EMPLOYEE REQUESTS TIME OFF. YOU MUST HAVE APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING EXPERIENCE AND A PLEASANT UPBEAT PERSONALITY TO BE ELIGIBLE.
Responsibilities:

Reception Area:
Open and close office duties as assigned (following existing protocol)
Handle cash drawer and patient payments
Customer Service :
Greet, welcome, direct and announce guests and patients appropriately
Email New patient info (welcome email, paperwork)
Insure all public and patient areas are clean, tidy and stocked of supplies.
Communications :
Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
Make calls as needed and requested (Appt reminder, owner request, etc)
Inform practitioner/therapists of any changes to their schedule that day
Record Keeping :
Maintain schedule as needed (Scheduling patients/waitlist)
Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments
Enter new patient data
Intake New patients
Patient Care:
Prep treatment rooms including cleaning tables between patients, adding needed items such as pillowcases (or sheets for massages), changing stim pads, getting tables set up for massage for certain patients, keeping baby wipes available, etc
Assist patients to treatment rooms.
Initial intake patient information and then provide Practitioners a summary of patient’s medical information
Assist practitioners with Interferential stim therapy (Hook up/unhook patients. Get heat/ice)
Prep treatment rooms
Assist patients off table that are in need of assistance
Administration:
Supervise office employees/therapists
Maintain schedule as needed (Scheduling patients/waitlist)
Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments
Enter new patient data
Create and maintain spreadsheets as needed (call log, new patient log, cleaning list, open/close office, inventory, etc.). This does NOT mean to do these tasks; it means to simply update spreadsheets as needed. (once a month)
Assist in:
Preparation of weekly deposit
Research errors in patient ticketing
Research additional information as directed on internet
Check inventory (use checklist)
Qualifications:
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
College degree and/or three years related work experience in a health related facility.
TECHNICAL :
Excellent Communication skills including interpersonal communications, written and telephone.
Proficient knowledge of computer systems, specifically in MS Office products.
Team Player
Outstanding time management skills
Experience in basic marketing techniques.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Bending, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds
Requirements generally occurring in an office environment, including but not limited to: keyboarding, file retrieval, and communicating (verbal and written).
