Our client, located in Shaw AFB, SC, is currently in need of a Secret cleared NetApp Storage Engineer for a 12 month contract. The targeted start date is 3/8/21 and the position is 100% onsite. The position should extend year over year. The consultant will work onsite in support of NetApp storage systems running as separate storage and as part of a FlexPod. The consultant should also have a strong VMware background as it is required for a lot of day to day tasks within their converged infrastructure environment.Required Skills:
- Active DoD Secret or higher clearance. An interim is also acceptable
- Strong NetApp storage and ONTAP experience
- Thick and Thin provisioning
- CIFS / NFS
- Core troubleshooting
- iSCSI and Fibre Channel
- Experience with NetApp replication technology
- SnapMirror, SnapVault
- Experience with NetApp mgmt. tools
- System Manager, Unified Manager, OCUM, ActiveIQ
- Experience managing VMware virtualized environments
- Core networking knowledge
- Experience with or knowledge of NetApp FlexPod or HCI systems
- Experience with Cisco UCS
- Experience with HCI deployments – to support new inbound hardware purchase
- Knowledge of StorageGRID
