Job Description:

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Medical Documentation Supervisor position. The Medical Documentation Supervisor is responsible for facilitating individual and team training for job responsibilities with ongoing monitoring and feedback on progress and productivity. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Understand the documentation requirements for the payers and product categories for which Norco provides services

Run and workflow all CMNs, DWOs, WOPDs, and PAs to the appropriate team member

Run TIMS/DIVER reports to monitor and review to determine the accuracy and timeliness of the team's processes

Update and monitor the referral specific requirements on the SharePoint regarding calling, mailing, faxing, not calling, not faxing, etc

Audit employees for job accuracy in accordance with Norco policy

Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary

Qualifications:

4 year college degree or degree in Health Information Management preferred

Proficient within Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Ability to accurately enter data into computers and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications necessary to the position
